Research interests & activities
I’m a proteomic biologist at AgResearch.
I specialise in keratin and fibrous protein chemistry, particularly with regard to protein modifications that arise after cellular activity has ceased. My research interests also include food science and quantitative molecular profiling of peptides using non-traditional mass spectrometry techniques.
I am interesed in the science communication aspects of writing and data presentation and in the transfer of concepts between disciplines.
