This Statement of Corporate Intent (SCI) shows how we will work with our stakeholders to create tangible and valuable benefits. It details what we will do, how we will do it and how our contribution will be measured, providing confidence that our institute is making a real difference to the economic, environmental and social wellbeing of our country, and its most important export sector.

This document builds on our 2011-2016 SCI, which refreshed our direction, re-confirmed
our commitment to create value for our stakeholders and New Zealand through sciencebased
innovation, and outlined a renewed set of initiatives and impacts that we aim to
achieve and on which we expect to be evaluated.
