Persuasive Policy Conference 2006 - Introduction

Biodiversity and Community Development are both critical issues for policy makers in Local Authorities and Central Government. They are issues that help determine both our national and local identity. However, sometimes they can appear in conflict with each other. The programme draws on insights from our current research with an emphasis on combining theory with practice. It is designed with policy advisors, analysts, managers, field-staff, planners and technical consultants in mind.
