Elizabeth Rettedal
Senior Scientist
My interest in microbiology led me to pursue a PhD in Microbiology at South Dakota State University.
My research background is in microbial ecology with expertise in mostly human microbiomes. I have considerable experience utilising bioinformatics, for both shogun metagenome and 16S sequencing, to study microbial communities. Currently my research is focused on characterising gut microbial communities, their interactions, and ways to manipulate them to produce beneficial health effects.
