Scientific interests revolve around the nutrition, health and physiology of humans and animals, with a focus on making the most of qualities and opportunities inherent in NZ agri-foods. Research activities on the metabolism of minerals, proteins and lipids lead to market-informed, commercially-relevant outcomes and support for product claims.
