My science has mostly concerned ruminant lactation, development and now climate change mitigation.

Born in New Zealand, my roots include the EU and British Isles. I have worked for AgResearch since 1989 and prior to that MAF, Invermay and Otago University (Molecular Carcinogenesis lab). PhD was gained in 1996. I’m married with two adult children and two grandchildren. Interests and activities are in science, volleyball, touch rugby, fishing, fitness, harmony singing and future technologies.
