Ela Hiszczynska-Sawicka

I am a molecular biologist specialising in insect diagnostics, molecular biology technologies, genetics, and insect biochemistry to support biosecurity, biocontrol, and compliance verification. I hold a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Gdansk, Poland. Before moving to New Zealand, I lectured for 17 years at Gdansk University of Technology, where my research focused on DNA vaccines and diagnostic tools for toxoplasmosis.
