I specialize in forage crop breeding, focusing on enhancing the environmental resilience and productivity of New Zealand’s key pasture species. My current research centers on breeding programs for perennial ryegrass and white clover with genomic approaches: GWAS (Genome-Wide Association Studies) and GS (Genomic Selection) to drive genetic improvements of agronomic traits. My goal is to develop resilient, high-yielding forage crops for local farming communities.
