Nigel Bell

I am a senior scientist and have been a Science Team Leader since 2011.

I joined AgResearch at its inception, from MAF. I am a Soil Biologist with experience working with nematodes, microbes, and insects in soil. I am passionate about harnessing soil biology for sustainable land use.

I come from a mixed rural and urban upbringing with early years spent on a dairy farm in the Hauraki Plains. I am an enthusiast fisher and woodworker.
