Science Team Leader - Weeds Pests and Biosecurity
As an entomologist my research is focused on pest management and strengthening New Zealand’s biosecurity systems. Over 30+ years I have worked in a range of pastoral and cropping systems across New Zealand and Australia. This has involved work on a diverse range of subjects including but not limited to, identification of ectoparasites of livestock, invertebrate pest management, area wide management of pests, delimitation surveys, biosecurity incursions, and eradication of invasive species.
