My tupuna settled in Ōtepoti, Dunedin (Laverty & Richardson) and Riwaka (Rowling, Bradley) where I spent my formative years.

A molecular biologist, I’ve worked in agencies like the Foundation for Research, Science & Technology, MBIE, EPA, Plant and Food Research and AgResearch – with extensive stakeholder networks in science, primary industries, and government.

I live in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Wellington with my partner Phil and two sons at university. I like to go bush or kayaking when I can.
