As an early career Scientist at AgResearch, my current focus in the Food Systems Integrity team, is pioneering methods to mitigate bacteria and viruses on food, surface and air using cutting-edge far-UVC and blue LED light and cold plasma technology. Our team's dedication to advancing antimicrobial packaging and extending shelf life for vacuum-packed meat underscores our commitment to food safety and quality. I am also the technical editor for the Meat Industry Microbiology Manual.
