I have experience in rumen, aquaculture, soil bioremediation and plant rhizospheres using shotgun metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, reduced representation sequencing and 16S/ITS/18S amplicon metabarcoding. I am particularly interested in using the microbiome as a proxy for host traits and monitoring the health of animals, plants and soils.
