I am a farm systems and deer farming researcher. My current research focus is on behavioral phenotyping of farmed red deer. The objective of this research is to align individual personalities to landscapes to improve productive and environmental outcomes for farmers. I have worked at AgResearch Invermay since 2004 and during that time have covered topics including animal health, nutrition, animal behaviour, animal physiology, agronomy, pasture ecology, grazing management and farm systems design.
