Mark McNeill
Scientist
I have an entomology (insect) background and my diverse research has focused on insect pest management, plant-insect-multitrophic interactions, biocontrol and plant biosecurity to protect Aotearoa New Zealand’s primary industries and natural ecosystems. Some of my exciting projects have included understanding the biosecurity risks posed by soil, pathways and vectors of invasive species and using of edible insects to develop new protein sources with human health benefits.
