Science Team Leader - Climate Change and Forage Innovations
I lead the Climate Change and Forage Innovations Team (https://tinyurl.com/CCFITeam). Projects within the Team include: reducing greenhouse gas production; modifying plants for enhanced productivity and reduced environmental impact; gene editing of plants; and the development of plants with increased lipids. I am also involved in working towards the application of genetic technologies in New Zealand's primary industries, which includes associated industrial, regulatory, and societal engagement.
