Ryan Barlow

My passion for the environment led me to complete a BSc(Tech) in Environmental Science at the University of Waikato. I soon became a part of the Environmental Science North team based at Ruakura Research Centre. Most of my work revolves around the nitrogen cycle, focusing on identifying ways to mitigate nitrogen losses into the environment and managing other nutrients on farms. I am also a qualified UAV pilot under Part 101, which I use to conduct farm mapping and surveying.
