Senior Scientist
I grew up on a dairy farm in North Waikato and have been a Farm Systems Scientist at AgReseach Ruakura since 2004, specialising in dairy, dairy beef and dairy goat farming systems. My research explores farming systems and practices to improve environmental and economic outcomes. My current focus includes the New Zealand food system in a circular economy, Mātauranga Māori to address livestock health, greenhouse gases and nitrate leaching.
