Zachary Ngow

I got a summer studentship with AgResearch in 2018, on glyphosate resistant ryegrass, and since then have been working as a weeds science technician.

I then completed my Masters, which was a survey of maize farms for herbicide resistant weeds. After planting and testing many thousands of seeds, we have discovered several new cases of herbicide resistance, previously unknown in several crops.

Now my work also involves seed biology, weed management in pasture and plant invasions.
