I first got a summer studentship with AgResearch in 2018, where I did a project on glyphosate resistant ryegrass, and since then have been working as a weeds science technician.

I recently completed my Masters, which surveyed maize farms in for herbicide resistant weeds. I found that resistant summer grass was more widespread then thought.

After planting many thousands of seeds, we have discovered several species to have resistance that were previously unknown.
