This science programme has four key areas of focus:
- Framework and indicators: Developing an integrated framework with indicators to assess farm performance and guide sustainable planning, across environmental, cultural, social and economic values
- Data collection and monitoring: Tracking on-farm changes and impacts to inform performance, management and policy
- Modelling scenarios: Using farm scale models (including geospatial optimisation) to simulate future land use and support decision-making
- Accelerating change: Identifying and addressing barriers to adopting sustainable practices through collaboration and learning.
