Alasdair Noble

I was brought up in UK and trained as a mechanical engineer, then changed to secondary school teaching. I moved to New Zealand on a recruitment plan for teachers and taught in a number of schools in NZ before retraining as a statistician at Massey University in the 90's. After 15 years at Massey from student to lecturer I returned to the South Island to Plant and Food Research (4 weeks before the February earthquake!) and then to AgResearch in 2014
