Previously a research scientist, investigating biomaterials with focus on intrinsic properties of wool. Working with cattle, humans & dogs investigating odour, flammability, bio-degradeability & skin health.
My PhD focused on biomaterial wound dressings & I worked in the textile industry before moving into R&D in 2002.
This diverse experience has led me to the role of team leader of the Research & Project Management Office to focus on supporting scientists to deliver high quality science.
