I am a Scientist in the Food System Integrity Team at AgResearch Ltd, based in Palmerston North. My research interests are the development of new antimicrobial novel food processing technologies and the detection of bacterial pathogens in food using non-destructive techniques. I have a PhD in Food Science/Microbiology from the University of Otago on the thermal resistance of bacterial spores.
