Caitlin Hyde
PhD Student
I'm a PhD student with a broad interest in food and society. My background is in genetics and anthropology and I have technical experience in microbiology and molecular biology.
Recently I jumped ship to the world of social science, and now explore edible insects in Aotearoa with a Science and Technology Studies lens.
I take an active role in the early career space, and sit on the Lincoln campus and the national ECG committee as co-leader of the Student and Casual Workforce Pou.
