Goetz Laible

I am Principal Scientist at AgResearch and honorary Associate Professor at the University of Auckland. I hold a PhD in biochemistry from the Free University of Berlin, Germany and completed my scientific training at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in San Diego, USA and the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology in Vienna, Austria. In 1997, I joined AgResearch to develop technologies for the directed genetic improvement of livestock aimed at agricultural and biomedical applications.
