My passion is nutrition, health and wellness. Initially training as a nurse, I retrained to become a science researcher. My PhD and postdoctoral work investigated the genetics of asthma, and treatments for virus exacerbation. Moving to NZ I began investigating mammalian milk and plant-based foods including changes in physical functionality through processing and the impact this could have on digestibility, nutrition and immunity.
