My research interests are the development of novel phenotypes for difficult or expensive to measure traits relevant to the New Zealand sheep industry to estimate their genetic parameters. As such I have worked on a variety of traits including carcass traits, meat quality traits (specifically intramusuclar fat and its fatty acid composition), feed efficiency and facial eczema. This variety of traits comes from my drive to deliver knowledge to the New Zealand sheep industry.
