I believe the livestock industry should be economical while preserving animal welfare. My intention is to improve the genetic gain of the animals so that the farmers get financial benefits year after year while making sure that the animals are healthy and happy. My research helps to find out ways of genetically improving animals’ susceptibility to diseases and reducing methane emissions.
