I am a soil scientist (PhD from The University of Reading) specializing in nitrogen cycling in grazed pastures and the impacts of animal wintering on soil and water quality. Based at AgResearch’s Invermay campus near Mosgiel, much of my current research focuses on quantifying nutrient and sediment losses to water and assisting end user groups with policy development and/or management guidelines that can reduce these losses.
