Roy Costilla

I was born in Peru and grew up between Cuzco's mountains and Lima's ocean. I came to New Zealand several years ago and call it home now.
I'm a Statistician and Geneticist. My research is focused on Genomics, computational methods and their applications to Animal and Plant Breeding. Before AgResearch, I completed a PhD in Stats at Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand) and a postdoc at the University of Queensland (Australia).
I live in Auckland with my little big family.
