My family farming background and interests in mathematics led to completion of a BSc in Operations Research at University of Canterbury.

My expertise is in mathematics, visible and infra red spectrometry for process control and mass spectrometry techniques to identify natural or intrinsic traceable markers associated with food, fibre and bio-based products. The goal is to provide sound, documented technical systems for secure biomaterials specification and traceable export operations.
