Wade Mace
Senior Scientist
Growing up on a dairy farm, I sort a MSc looking for biocontrol agents for the clover root weevil. This confirmed my love of chemistry and put me off ever working with biological systems. A PhD and post-doc later and I’m studying the grass-endophyte symbiosis, and its interaction with insects and grazing animals. My expertise is chemistry and biochemistry specialising in secondary metabolite pathways and quantitation of metabolites.
As well as chemistry, I love cycling, golf, and the odd run.
